here are on July 4th 2014 morning McCullough and art collector painting and title Steven taken from his tonight the people will prove Beyond reasonable doubt that the defendant attention was peeking in tennis on Independence Day what time is put forth by the constitutional rights Foundation which is a Civic literacy organization that exists Nationwide here in Orange County that looks is they provide all sorts of which entities for students to gain and enhance understanding and the Bill of Rights mock trials one small component of that larger program to give students a chance to participate in a hypothetical court case the courtroom it really can be very intimidating when you walk in and just set up just like you see on television or if you have ever walked in a courtroom there's a judge and some jurors who are watching the case and how they present one especially like when you walk into the courtroom for the first time you don't know what the judge is going to be like but when you go in there and you perform your case that you've been preparing for so long it's really it's an enjoyable experience turn in that I think for so many students it's it might be the first time they've ever really performed in a large group but it also is it if I think with more call tonight it is that they're asked to their **** to think of very quickly on their feet changing academic activity that anyone could undertake so for students who believe in their own intelligence this is the place to test it because it demands every **** intelligence it's not just about knowing information it's about being able to deliver it being able to be created and articulate and collaborative all these what we call 21st century skills all the I want our students to have when they go forward into the workplace this provides all of them here Selena evanshen who was working for a professor of the local University at on the professor's Mansion as a curator Star personal art gallery and on on the night of a party that the professor was having my client evanshen she was a key the prosecution of stealing a very a very expensive painting compared to the rest of the artifacts in that collection but painting with much sun volume to the professor and she was accused of stealing it and replacing it with her own copy of the painting better because of their time you're not trial and also they tend to be the greatest kids isn't easy this demands the best track some of the best of the toughest the smartest the most motivated team-oriented kid in the school so they also tend to Garner quite a few accolades over the course of their time starburns tonight and therefore we respectfully request the verdict of guilty probably count them sent by grand larceny thank you your honor
