The Fiscal Services Department develops and implements the District’s budget process and allocates yearly apportionments to the individual departments and schools to oversee and disburse. Fiscal Services is involved in all aspects of the financial life of the District. The Fiscal Services staff provides technical services to the schools and departments of the school district. The Payroll and Risk Management Departments are also under the Fiscal
Services oversight. The Payroll Department keeps track of all District
employees’ timecards and county reporting. The Risk Management
Department is responsible to plan, organize and direct the district’s
risk management program, including workers’ compensation, liability,
property, employee health benefits, employee and student safety, and
other mandated programs. The Accounting Department handles all accounts
payable, student body accounts, cash collection, attendance reporting,
use of facilities and maintains the financial history of the district. |
