Specialists

The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District is one of the few remaining districts with physical education specialists. All of our specialists have single subject physical education credentials in addition to their bachelor’s degrees. Continuous staff development and training is provided to ensure that the program meets the diverse needs of our elementary students at every site. Specialists rotate among the district schools visiting three times every two weeks.

Physical Education Standards

Our district’s elementary physical education program is based on the California Physical Education Standards K-6.
