Where is your office located? How do I get there?
We are located at 1301 E. Orangethrope Avenue in Placentia, CA. From the 57 freeway, exit at Orangethorpe Avenue and go east approximately 2.2 miles. The District Office is on the north side of the street between Rose Drive/Tustin Avenue and Jefferson Avenue. Use the first legal left turn lane after you pass Rose Drive/Tustin Avenue. There is a large sign by the entrance. From the 91 freeway, exit at Tustin Avenue and go north approximately 2 miles. Turn right on Orangethorpe Avenue. The District Office is on the north side of the street between Tustin Avenue and Jefferson Avenue.

Do you have Instructional Aide positions available? When is the next test date? What does it cover? Is there a study guide?
We continually recruit for Instructional Aides. Testing is done on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 9:00 AM.

How do I apply for a job?
Applications for both teaching and non-teaching jobs can be picked up at the District Office. You may also request those materials be mailed to you. Substitute teacher applications must be picked up at the District Office. At this point, we are not able to accept applications "on-line."

What do I need to become a substitute teacher in your District?
To substitute teach in our District, you must have a teaching credential or an Emergency 30-day Substitute Teaching Permit. Fingerprints must be cleared by the Orange County Department of Education prior to employment.

How do I get an Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit?
You must have a BA degree and have passed the California Basic Education Skills Test (CBEST). Call the Orange county Department of Education for information about the Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit and finger print clearance.
