Erica Sperrazzo from Eastside Christian Church, a frequent and generous supporter of PYLUSD families and teachers, has again stepped up to help one of our families. The Ocampo family, who recently were forced to relocate, and lost almost all of their possessions, were grateful to receive replacement items, including bedding, clothing and mattress pads. They were so thrilled for the assistance. All of the girls attend PYLUSD schools. Erica was instrumental in organizing and offering assistance to the family. Jon Matson, district McKinney Vento Homeless Liaison, commented, "We have a wonderful collaboration with Eastside Christian. Not only do they help our teachers and schools, but they generously donate to our most vulnerable students. We are fortunate to have a partnership with this wonderful church."
