Meal Service During Remote Learning

*More information about the district's Hybrid Learning Model meal service will be available in the near future.

The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) is pleased to

announce that starting on Tuesday, September 8, grab and go meals will be free of charge for all children 18 and under. This shift in procedure is due to an extension of the Free Summer Meal Program funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) that was just approved on Tuesday, September 1, 2020.
Grab and go meal pick up in PYLUSD will continue to take place Monday through
Friday from 6:30 am to 9:00 am during remote learning at the ten school sites
designated below. Families may drive-through or walk-up to receive meals, but they
should be consumed off-site.

PYLUSD students do not need to be present to receive a grab and go meal;
however, families must bring their student specific barcode for service. Children
who do not attend PYLUSD schools must be present during their first visit to
receive a district-issued barcoded card in order to receive meals in the future.

Barcoded letters have been sent home for each student via email and/or postal
service. If you have not received your student-specific letter, simply bring your
student’s ID number with you to receive meals until your letter is received or contact
the Nutrition Services office to inquire.
