Mr. Mann

jon
"I teach music because I want to help provide the same experience I had growing up, a positive musical education that equips students to be lifelong learners and appreciators of music."

Mr. Mann graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a BA in each Music Education and Bass Performance. He then went on to get an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University.

Mr. Mann's history with PYLUSD music goes way back. In 4th grade, he started playing the bass in beginning strings class at Wagner Elementary School, all the way through El Dorado High School.

He now has over 20 years teaching experience, and has been teaching at PYLUSD since 2017. He currently teaches at five elementary schools: Brookhaven, Glenview, Rose Drive, Tynes, and Woodsboro. In addition, he is an adjunct professor at Hope International University. Mr. Mann enjoys playing bass as a freelance musician, and spending time with his family.
