The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) strategic plan, known as “The PYLUSD Advantage,” guides our decision-making and ensures that our students will have the advantage of an outstanding education. It is more than just a document, but rather a road map that outlines the reason we exist, the direction that drives us, what we stand for, and so much more.
At the direction of our Board of Education, a group of dedicated district stakeholders including parents, students, community members, business and civic leaders, and staff recently joined together to revise "The PYLUSD Advantage" that spanned from 2013 through 2018. The process required great attention to detail and involved many hours of commitment in order to build upon the plan’s historic success.
Now a finished product, the newly updated “PYLUSD Advantage” will be utilized from 2019 through 2024. It will continue to shape the future of our school district.
In honor of the updated strategic plan, PYLUSD will present “Advantage August” across all of our online platforms. All throughout the month, we will share portions of “The PYLUSD Advantage” in order to offer a more in-depth look at what makes the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District a unique place to learn.
