Your Rights and Protections
Schools Are Safe Spaces — According to recent guidance from the California Attorney General, school officials are only required to allow immigration agents on campus with a court-issued warrant.
Your Information Is Confidential — PYLUSD does not collect or share information about students' or families' immigration status.
If you or your child have any concerns about immigration matters, our staff is here to support you. We also encourage you to ensure your emergency contact information is up to date in the Aeries Parent Portal so we can assist your family if needed. For help updating this information, please contact your child's school front office.
