Measure A Projects Continue This Summer

As students leave for summer break, construction crews will arrive to continue further improvements made possible with the community’s Measure A bond. Those projects include:
 
• Valencia High School – science and orchestra buildings
• Valencia High School – concrete replacement
• Valencia High School – Bradford Stadium concession building modernization
• Valencia High School – Bradford Stadium improvements such as asphalt replacement, ticket booth upgrades, restroom modernization and entrance area upgrades
• Mabel Paine Elementary – shade shelter
• Yorba Linda High – modernization of the former college campus classrooms
• Travis Ranch School – heating and air conditioning replacement
• Yorba Linda Middle School – fencing project
• Bryant Ranch Elementary – fencing project
• District Performing Arts Center
 
These projects are part of the Measure A bond program, which together with Measure Y, has resulted in world-class educational facilities for our students. These projects include:
 
Four new schools
Newly-modernized classrooms across 34 schools
Removal of aging portables
New libraries
New computer labs
New sports fields
New science labs
New career preparation classrooms
New gymnasiums
New school offices
Expanded school parking lots
Interactive technology in classrooms
A 638-seat performing arts center, currently in construction.
