Wagner Elementary School fifth grader Jacob Adarlo was recognized for designing the winning entry in the Placentia Library's Card Design Contest. Jacob's parents and brother were also in attendance.
Additionally, the Board surprised Placentia Library Director Jeanette Contreras with the district's most prestigious honor, the "You Are The Advantage" award. The Placentia Library District was singled out for its positive and supportive partnership with the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District.
