The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) will celebrate California Week of the Teacher, affectionately known as Teacher Appreciation Week, May 6-12, 2018.
As outlined in “The PYLUSD Advantage,” the District’s mission states: “We hold high expectations for all students through rigorous and relevant educational experiences that challenge them to become responsible, ethical, and engaged citizens.”
This meaningful mission, of which is nearly impossible without the dedication of the District’s exceptional educators, is the reason why PYLUSD exists. It is for that reason, and so many more, that the District spends an entire week showing and encouraging extensive ‘thanks’ to our devoted teachers.
Teachers – a heartfelt “thank you” goes out to each and every one of you this Teacher Appreciation Week. Your commitment to the District’s mission, as well as your ability to create countless moments of positive influence for our school community, is truly what ensures PYLUSD students will have the advantage of an outstanding education.
