On December 7, 2018, The Orange County Register published their annual “Top Workplaces” list outlining the best places to work in the Orange County area. For the second year in a row, the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) has been named to the list in the large companies (500+ employees) category. The District first received the Top Workplace recognition in 2017.
“We are truly honored to have been distinguished as a Top Workplace yet again,” said Superintendent, Dr. Greg Plutko. “In PYLUSD, we strive to provide a dynamic, high-quality work experience for our team. I am humbled to know that the judges of this competition, our employees, believe that PYLUSD is one of the finest places to work in Orange County.”
The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program is based upon feedback from an employee survey that was completed a few months ago. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including alignment, execution, connection, and more.
