Middle school families and other prospective students are invited to High School Showcase to discover the academic, athletic, activity, and art-based opportunities unique to the district's high schools. Each high school—El Dorado, Esperanza, Valencia, and Yorba Linda—will showcase its campus and programs during its respective evening event.

About Us
The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) is located in northeast Orange County, California. The district serves the cities of Placentia and Yorba Linda as well as portions of Anaheim, Brea, Fullerton and rapidly developing county territory that reaches the Riverside County line.
The district's 34 school sites include 20 elementary schools, five middle schools, a K-8 school, four comprehensive high schools, a special education school, a continuation high school, a TK-12 home school, and a K-12 online school. Application Window Opens: September 22
Application Closes: October 23
Acceptance Notification: November 2
Academy Commitment Day: November 6
- By applying to the high school academy, you are committing to a minimum of ONE FULL YEAR of enrollment in the Academy Coursework.
- Every application received will be reviewed thoroughly regardless of the time the application was received up until October 23, 2026 at midnight.
