On December 13, 2019, The Orange County Register published their annual “Top Workplaces” list outlining the best places to work in the Orange County area. For the third year in a row, the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) has been named to the list in the large companies (500+ employees) category. The District first received the Top Workplace recognition in 2017.
“It is such an honor to earn the Orange County Top Workplace recognition for the third year in a row,” shared Superintendent, Dr. Greg Plutko. “In PYLUSD, we align our organization around core values that support our employees. It is a privilege to know that they, as the judges of this award, consider PYLUSD to be a premier place to work in the county.”
The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program is based upon feedback from a survey that over 1,300 PYLUSD employees completed a few months ago. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured including alignment, execution, connection, and more.
