Noah Campuzano Sworn in as New Student Member on the PYLUSD Board of Education

El Dorado High School (EDHS) senior Noah Campuzano was sworn in as the new Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) Student Board Member on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. His term will last throughout the first semester of the school year.

As the Student Board Member, Noah will prepare a monthly report to present at each Board Meeting. His reports will highlight recent activities and events occurring on the District’s high school and alternative campuses. He will also cast preferential votes on important matters related to PYLUSD.

Noah grew up in the District, having attending Brookhaven Elementary School before transitioning to Tuffree Middle School and now, EDHS.

This upcoming school year, Noah will serve the Golden Hawks as ASB President, an elected role with many responsibilities on behalf of his school. In addition to ASB for his senior year, Noah is signed up to participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities such as football, clubs, and National Honor Society (NHS).

Following graduation and beginning in Fall 2021, Noah hopes to attend college in California in order to stay close to his family and friends. He also aspires to be a teacher one day.

The District is incredibly pleased that Noah has agreed to serve as the Student Board Member during his final school year at El Dorado and in PYLUSD. Congratulations, Golden Hawk!
