Textbooks
PYLUSD piloted several math textbooks in 2014-2015. In the spring of 2015, new textbooks were selected by teachers and approved by the Board of Education.
Teachers selected California Math Expressions published by Houghton Mifflin for elementary and Big Ideas Math published by Big Ideas Learning for secondary. Teachers began training in May of 2015 and the preparation continued over the summer.
