Mr. Mottershead

"I teach music because it's good for my soul."

 

Mr. Mottershead has a BA degree in Music Education from Cal State Fullerton, and he has been teaching music for over twenty years teaching elementary and middle school music.

 

He first joined PYLUSD in 1999. While he spent many years teaching 4th, 5th, and 6th grade vocal music, he currently is helping to pioneer our newest music program of Primary Music for kindergarten through 3rd grade.

 

Mr. Mottershead has also studied Indian classical sitar, and he loves to sing songs from Bollywood movies.
