2024-25 Health Benefits Open Enrollment
All PYLUSD Benefit Eligible Employees:
Open Enrollment for the PYLUSD 2024-25 health benefit plan year will be held from May 20 to June 30, 2024. Benefits for this plan year will begin on October 1, 2024.
*Retirees will enroll via paper forms sent via US Mail, enrollment ends June 14, 2024*
Three options are available to complete the open enrollment process. You may complete your enrollment via self-enroll, or schedule an in-person or virtual appointment with an American Fidelity representative. Instructions to enroll are attached below and have been mailed to your home address on file with the District.
- In-Person OR Virtual Appointment: American Fidelity representatives will conduct virtual and in-person appointments during the enrollment period. To make an appointment with an American Fidelity representative, please select the following link: americanfidelity.com/

- Enrolling Online: A convenient and easy way to sign up for health benefits. The online enrollment site will be available beginning May 20, not before. Enrollment must be completed no later than 4:30 p.m. on June 30, 2024. Please print the confirmation page upon completion of your enrollment and keep a copy for your records.
Please note: The enrollment period ends June 30, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. The benefits you select will be effective October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025.
ALL BENEFIT-ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES MUST ENROLL EACH YEAR. WHETHER ENROLLING ONLINE OR WITH A REPRESENTATIVE, PLEASE REVIEW YOUR BENEFITS CAREFULLY TO ENSURE YOU HAVE SELECTED THE CORRECT COVERAGE BEFORE FINALIZING YOUR ENROLLMENT (always check your confirmation form for accuracy.)
If you are retiring before October 1, 2024, please do not enroll. A package will be sent to your home with instructions regarding your transition to retirement benefits.
