SISC Benefit - VIDA - Virtual Health Coaching

The world is rapidly changing and the current health care system is struggling to keep up with the needs of many people. In an effort to help address a part of the problem, SISC is excited to introduce Vida Health, a virtual care and health coaching service. Vida will be available to SISC PPO and HMO members effective April 1, 2020. Eligible members can also learn more about Vida by visiting: www.vida.com/SISC.

 

Effective 12/1/25, Vida is now offering a medical weight loss program at no cost for qualifying Anthem members.

HMO members with a BMI over 30 will have access to Vida’s medical weight loss program, which includes support from a nutritionist, health coaching, and clinical provider visits. This new medical weight loss program also offers the prescribing of anti-obesity medications, including select GLP-1 therapies for HMO members with a BMI over 40 who meet clinical and program engagement criteria.

 

The new medical weight loss program is available only to Anthem HMO members with the required BMI. This program enhancement does not constitute an open enrollment opportunity.

 

**As a reminder, Vida remains a no-cost health coaching and therapy program for SISC Anthem PPO and HMO members over the age of 18  (excluding 65+ plans).
